Madeline Muzilh Kelson is from the Beaver clan of the Haisla Nation located in Kitimat so-called northern BC. Her partner, their baby, and she live alternating between Kitimat and Hartley Bay, home of the Gitga'at people, where her partner is from. Currently she’s pursuing my Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Political Science, Minoring in Environmental Studies and working locally with the fisheries. Her primary area of interest is Indigenous Sovereignty and Natural Law. After her Undergrad, she plans to work towards her law degree and be a part of advocating for our peoples inherit rights and title to steward our ancestral territories.
